This is an exciting time in the global response to viral hepatitis with increased understanding of the burden of disease and increased attention on the need to scale up the public-health response. There are currently two job announcements within the WHO Global Hepatitis Programme team that may be of particular interest to our hepatology community. Both positions will play a key role within WHO's Hepatitis Team to shape strategic directions, develop normative documents, and provide technical assistance to countries
