The EU is holding a chronic disease summit on Thursday April 3rd, 2014. EASL is taking part by holding a side event at the meeting, "Putting Liver Disease at the Heart of EU Chronic Disease Policy" and we have also partnered with 11 other medical societies who are members of the European Chronic Disease Alliance and issued a statement calling for the EU to act on Chronic Diseases (see attached).
