Friends of the Liver - The Challenge of Hepatitis C in Central and South Eastern Europe

The MEP Friends of the Liver group held a meeting in the European Parliament on March 22nd 2017.

The focus of the meeting was on the burden of Hepatitis C in the Baltic and Central and South Eastern EU member states. Speakers from the European Parliament, the European Commission the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, patients groups and hepatology community presented and discussed the situation and the steps needed to get better access to treatment for HCV patients in the region.
