EASL Secretary General, Laurent Castera joined over 100 leading researchers as a co-signatory of a letter published in The Times on 18 November calling for changes to the proposed EU regulation on data protection.

The EASL EU Research Officer, Dr Laura Capitaine, also attended an event in the European Parliament on 19 November in support of better and more harmonised EU provisions around research and privacy.
