The EASL Mentorship Programme application deadline has been extended. The new deadline is Friday, 15 December 2017.

What is the EASL Mentorship Programme? 

"It is a very personal relationship between the [mentee and mentor]. Together they look at all aspects of their work, career, and the future." - Prof. Marsha Morgan

The Mentorship Programme was created to enhance scientific exchange and personal developmental relationships between knowledgeable hepatologists (mentors) and young investigators (mentees) through a crucial stage in their career.

What are the requirements for a potential mentee (applicant)?

  • Mentees should be under the age of 35 at the time of application and/or still in training.
  • Applicant must be a registered EASL member.
  • Applicant must not hold a permanent position.
  • Home institution must be European and located in a different European country from the mentor's institution.
    • No restriction on the applicant's nationality.
  • The mentors and mentees will be requested to attend The International Liver Congress™ in April. Both parties will take part in the Young Investigators' Forum.


When is the application deadline?

The application deadline was 30 November 2018 however, it has been extended to 15 December 2018.
