EASL website launch October 2009

Dear colleague, dear friend,

As 2010 approaches, EASL moves forward into the golden electronic era. On this occasion, we would like to update you on the new EASL website launch. Our association, the European Association for the Study of the Liver, has become a leading society in the field of liver research and, with your constant support, we shall continue to become increasingly stronger in order to provide scientist, researchers, clinicians and patients with the latest information on liver disease and treatment.

On www.easl.eu, vistors can access up-to-the-minute news on: The International Liver CongressTM, EASL Clinical Practice Guidelines, EASL Schools of Hepatology, Dame Sheila Sherlock Fellowship programs, Monothematic and Special Conferences, EU matters and Sponsorships.

EASL Members will also find a dedicated Members Zone where they can join the EASL Member's Directory, access direct webcasting and e-Series. This zone is a platform for scientific exchange. With the help of our members, we aim to transform our website into the most dynamic liver exchange on the web!

Access via the Members Zone also provides a direct link to the Journal of Hepatology, EASL's flagship journal.  All EASL members receive the Journal of Hepatology for free as part of their EASL membership. According to EASL policy, an entirely new editorial team is assembled every five years and the new editorial team was hence established mid-September 2009.

Now is the moment to discover the new face of EASL. If you wish to provide us with any feedback, all comments and suggestions will be appreciatively received. Please contact jacqui.sisto@easloffice.eu EASL's Communication Manager.

Our healthy collaboration enables EASL, its Governing Board, and the recently established EASL office to carry on serving in the best interests of our association. Together we can accomplish our tasks and enthusiastically contribute to the life and growth of our association whose aim is to reinforce and strengthen European Hepatology.

Thank you for sharing this information.
