I would like to make you aware of a job announcement within the WHO Global Hepatitis Programme team for a Hepatitis Treatment Medical Officer. The announcement closes on 15 September 2014 and details about the job can be found on the WHO web site at:

This is a very exciting opportunity to help shape WHO’s hepatitis treatment strategy and to lead the development of some of the key normative documents that will help countries to plan their treatment scale-up. There is also a strong focus on improving the estimation of burden of disease and on defining research priorities. As countries begin to develop their treatment programs, there will also be opportunities for country technical assistance.
I would greatly appreciate it if  you could circulate this announcement widely to prospective applicants.
Interested individuals who would like additional information can email me directly at: wiktors@who.int.
