The Blue Book describes the European gastroenterology and hepatology specialist competences

The Blue Book describes the European gastroenterology and hepatology specialist competences as defined by the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. It is a publication of the UEMS for the purposes of outlining the training which they feel should be followed by gastroenterologists and hepatologists.

In October 2012 The European Section and Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the Union of European Medical Specialities published the 2012 version of the Blue Book (The EB GastroHep Training Programme).
