EASL would like to thank everyone who attended the EASL Monothematic Conference HIV and the Liver in London, UK, at the beginning of December 2012 and also thanks the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) for co-sponsoring the meeting.

This was the first conference of its kind bringing together hepatologists and infectious disease specialists to address one of the critical issues in the management of HIV-infected patients: the rising mortality from liver disease.

The Conference Highlights report features the key topics discussed and presented during the EASL Monothematic Conference. This report will enable you to keep up to date with the latest happenings in the field.
