Immune-mediated liver injury is the common pathway that underpins most of the liver diseases we treat in Europe, including viral hepatitis, toxic liver damage, autoimmune liver disease and steatohepatitis. Understanding the mechanisms involved will allow us to develop much needed treatments for chronic liver disease.

This is an opportune time to review exciting recent developments in the field and to this end we have assembled an outstanding programme with leading international authorities in the field. They will address immune-mediated liver injury from basic mechanisms through to pathophysiology and therapy. An important element of the meeting will be discussions and interactions between delegates and speakers which we hope will lead to collaborations and the dissemination of ideas and knowledge.

We look forward to welcoming you to this important scientific event.
