Spanish DILI Registry
The Spanish Drug Induced Liver Injury Network is a consolidated collaborative network set up in 1994 that works in collaboration with the prestigious Society of Hepatology (Spanish Association for the Study of Liver Diseases) and the Spanish Society of Clinical Pharmacology. A network of different clinical units integrated by hepatologists and clinical pharmacologists collects data from suspected cases of Drug-Induced Idyosincratic liver disease using structural report forms. To date, 59 Clinical Units spread all over Spain, covering 13 out of 17 regions, participate in the work.

EASL is one of the 16 members of the UEGF,a professional non-profit medical federation comprising all of the major European societies with an interest in disease of the digestive system, including the oesophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, intestine and bowel. The European societies that make up the Federation include medicine, surgery, GI oncology, paediatrics and endoscopy. UEGF is the most comprehensive organisation of this kind in the world and its affiliated societies represent over 22.000 European specialists. The annual congress United European Gastroenterology Week - UEGW is Europe’s most important meeting in Gastroenterology and is held in October every year.
