Prof. Markus Peck-Radosavljevic is currently Secretary General of EASL and will step down from his position in 2015.

During the International Liver Congress 2013, Prof. Cecilia Rodrigues from Portugal, Dr. Helen Louise Reeves from the UK, and Dr. Alessio Aghemo from Italy were nominated as the new Scientific Committee members. Prof. Cihan Yurdaydin from Turkey was appointed as the new Educational Councillor.
